North Main Market — Attraction in Summerville

It has a lot of different stores to choose from to do your shopping. Pretty much anything you could possibly be looking for you can pretty much find in that plaza from the Wal-Mart super store with everything from hardware to pet supplies jewelry groceries oil change on your car firearms and ammunition to school supplies and hair and makeup products. And and electronics store hurricane electronics and radio shack hair and nail salons shoe store called the shoe dept and a music store womens beauty supply store and Claire's clothing store for women a payless shoe store a mens barber shop Belks department store a discount clothing store with very nice name brand clothing for men women children for a very good price shoes for discounted prices due to overstock or minimal damage from the manufacturer that you don't even notice most of the time also very fair pricing on quality name brand watches and cologne and perfume at Burkes clothing outlet and a Lowe's home...

I agree with others that this is an older strip mall type place. I was in Leslie's Pool Supply most recently. There was only 1 person working, and pallets of supplies had just arrived. He was a bit overwhelmed, I think, but still nice to the customers. He tested my water while checking another customer out. With my test results done, he went over the directions and gathered my pool opening supplies. I didn't even have to ask. He loaded everything in my truck. I do miss having the same people working in the stores. Now you never know who you will find & how knowledgeable they will be. This time, I was lucky and found a good one. I should have gotten his name for a shout-out in this review.

I also frequent Lowes, Walmart, and JoAnn's and sometimes Belk. I don't shop much, so I may only use these stores once a year. It's spring, so all the springtime work brings me to these stores. I will be back a few more times before...

Walmart has upgraded itself a tremendous deal over the past few years. This particular location can be very crowded at times which is frustrating.

Sadly, the traffic & overcrowding make me want to avoid going there altogether.

Main reason I’ve given 4 stars is because I miss when Walmart was 24 hours before Covid hit!! I’m sure there are a-lot of different factors that play a part in why they won’t go back to 24 hrs.

I get it. I do…it was just really convenient to have that store available. It was great for any last minute items needed that you cannot purchase at any 24-hour gas stations, CVS or Walgreens. Also, the later hours make more of a peaceful, less crowded...
